This is where Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate is ultimately at its strongest – it’s an undiluted Monster hunter end to end experience. The main loop of taking on a quest, hunting down a monster, fighting it, reducing its health, killing it, and using its carcass to craft more powerful weapons and armor to take on even more powerful monsters remains compelling to the base, and that hasn’t changed here either. Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate is still Monster hunter– a little rough in the corners, maybe, and not as welcoming and accommodating as some newer fans might expect, but it’s still Monster hunter.
